A Letter is wrapped in plastic and stuck to the back of a framed print of the above image.
To whom it may concern,
This letter was placed here by the artist Daryl Waller on the above date at 7:04am
If you are reading this then it means you, or someone, has removed the piece of art 'Troll Joke' from its location on the bridge at Polly Joke, Cornwall.
Congratulations, you now own this artwork.
However, in removing this piece you have now become interwoven into the artwork.
For the artist to continue with the documentation of this work please kindly follow the instructions below.
You may consider these small tasks payment for the artwork.
1) Photograph yourself holding the artwork, or photograph the artwork in its new location.
2) Email the photo to XXX to be used in the documentation of this work.
3) Include some text in the email briefly explaining your reason for removing the artwork from the bridge.
4) Explain what you plan to do with the artwork now that you have possession of it.
Should you decide to sell or give away the artwork, or place it in another public location the artist would like to be notified so he can keep the documentation going.
Framed print and letter were screwed onto the same bridge at Polly Joke on the 20.08.09 at 7:04am.
The framed piece was removed one month after installation. Part 4 is subject to response of the above letter.
