23rd July - 2nd October 2010 Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm
The House of Fairy Tales presents its travelling collection of mysterious artefacts from over 100 artists, which will merge with extraordinary artefacts selected from West Cornwall museums by Cornelia Parker, Hadrian Pigott, Tim Shaw, Alex Smirnoff and Blair Todd.
Exquisite Trove is an exploration of our human desire to collect, display and tell tales with objects and images that reflect our own personal histories and a fascination with the imagined lives of others.

DW will be exhibiting subjective perfect moments in film and sound, paper and memory. Some of these perfect moments remain untouched; others have been manipulated beyond recognition. In other areas old film clips join new film clips to give a stereo depiction of nostalgia vs. disappointment. Once removed from context these moments cease to have emotional impact, they become incomplete, however something interesting happens once singled out and analysed. This will be a re-imagined attempt to create new perfect, or imperfect moments. Questioning the responsibility perfection has in our culture.
DW is exhibiting at the M Art Center, Shanghai in a print show called Invisable Ink.
